Meet the Parents

Yes, we got engaged and it already went viral to our friends and relatives that we are finally tying the knot. It was announced, yet being born in a Filipino community it is with respect that we need to announce this in private with our family and some friends. On June 11, 2011 (almost a year before our wedding date), the Meet The Parents celebration was held. It was Sheena & Momon's version of the Pamamanhikan. It was supposed to be formal but the enjoyment and fun that we experienced during that day as we see each of our families enjoying the night was priceless.

This is the first "not-so-formal" meeting of our families encapsulated with our own personal touch of pamamanhikan, "Meet the Parents". I was nervous at first of how everything would end up, who wouldn't be? And seeing the pictures taken after the party, (which captured the right moments c/o Mark Isidro), truly had assured us that our guests truly had a lot of fun -and we, ourselves, definitely had a lot of fun too during the entire gathering. Our 'ohana, together and bonded with smiles and laughter. :)
